We manufacture to drawing. The table below shows the materials and finishing we work with most often; if your requirement is different, describe it and we will tell you whether it is something we can hold.

Finishing and processing

Heat treatment, end grinding, passivation and plating. If a customer specification calls for something we do not do in-house, we will say so at quotation stage rather than after the order.

Materials we are asked for

Carbon steel, 301, 302, 304 and 316 stainless, 17-7PH, Elgiloy and Inconel grades are all frequently requested. Availability varies by grade and quantity — ask early if the material is unusual, because lead time is usually set by the wire, not by the winding.

Send the drawing. The most common answer is yes; the second most common is a clear no with a reason. Both are more useful to you than a maybe.
